Innovation and Efficiency
Sinomatech is establishing a modern surface treatment facility related to the plastics industry in Nyíregyháza. The automated production lines will be used to coat separator films required for energy storage systems. The technology employed is based on a water-based processing method, eliminating the untreated waste gas emissions typically associated with solvent-based technologies. All gas emissions are filtered through a multi-stage activated carbon treatment system.
Trial production is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2027, while full-scale production is anticipated to commence in the third quarter of 2027. The company intends to rely on local suppliers and the local workforce. In the first phase, approximately 120 new jobs will be created, bringing the total workforce to 150 employees. Once full production capacity is reached, a total of 275 jobs will be available.
The investment will contribute to the region’s long-term development and bring modern, safe technology to Nyíregyháza, ensuring a stable industrial presence for decades to come.
